Perception said King Kullen was more expensive than its competitors. Reality said otherwise. To change this perception, King Kullen had to be aggressive. Following an exhaustive consumer research project, a new pricing strategy was developed. Prices were reduced on thousands of items throughout the store. To communicate the new pricing to consumers, Crown created a new savings program dubbed PriceWise. Promoted across traditional media with a sharp focus on TV and Digital Display, PriceWise was a smart solution, indeed.

Some ideas are so big they end up on the Jumbotron in Times Square. This is one of them.
